Tether and the government of Guinea will work to ensure the sharing of knowledge and the adoption of best practices from international blockchain experts. One crucial aspect of this partnership is the establishment of blockchain education programs in collaboration with Guinea’s Cité des Sciences et de l’Innovation de Guinée (City of Science and Innovation of Guinea). These educational programs aim to increase public and civil service awareness and understanding of blockchain and thus equip Guinea’s youths to thrive in the global digital economy. Tether also plans to support Guinea’s “Innovation City” project, a national project that will build the country’s technology, research, and entrepreneurship hub. This project aims to create a hub for innovation and digital growth within the country to support Guinea’s wider plan to enhance its economic development through digital transformation. The “Innovation City” will be a critical asset in enhancing Guinea’s status as a leader in the digital economy.
